This 10-day journey pairs wellness with the quieter, less-visited beaches of Sri Lanka’s east coast. Four nights at a boutique wellness resort in Kandy — daily massage, full board and guided yoga — are followed by four nights on the calm, reef-sheltered waters of Pasikuda Beach, before a final night in the coastal town of Negombo ahead of your flight home.
Prefer Trincomalee’s calmer, diving-friendly waters and its own whale watching season over Pasikuda? We can swap it in for this leg of the trip — just let us know when you enquire.
Welcome at Colombo Airport and transfer to Kandy (about 3h30). Check in to your wellness resort and unwind by the pool after your flight. Dinner and overnight, with daily massage and full board included throughout your Kandy stay.
Visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, one of Buddhism's most revered sites. Evening yoga session at the hotel, harmonising body and breath in a peaceful tropical setting.
Morning yoga session. Later, join Sri Lanka's first coffee-themed circuit — a 2.5-hour signature tasting tour tracing the island's forgotten coffee history through its aromas and plantations.
A guided cycling ride (1.5–2.5 hours) through the countryside around the resort, followed by a traditional Sri Lankan lunch featuring jackfruit at a rustic riverside restaurant.
Drive to the east coast (about 4h30) to Pasikuda Beach, known for its calm turquoise waters and shallow, reef-sheltered bay. Relax by the pool on arrival.
A full day at leisure to enjoy the resort's facilities and Pasikuda's calm, uncrowded waters.
Join local fishermen for a deep-sea fishing trip off Pasikuda, a tradition that has shaped this coastal community for generations.
Another full day at leisure by the beach, with the resort's spa, pool and dining at your own pace.
Drive to Negombo (about 5h30), a lively coastal town known for its golden palm-lined beaches, colourful fish market and centuries-old churches.
Transfer from Negombo to Colombo International Airport (about 20 minutes) for your return flight.
