Aveniq Travel (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates aveniqtravel.com. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it. It applies to all visitors, including visitors from the European Union and France.
Aveniq Travel is a Sri Lanka-based tour operator. You can reach us at info@aveniqtravel.com or via WhatsApp at +94 71 490 3620. We do not maintain a public office address; all contact is handled online and by WhatsApp.
We only collect personal data that you choose to give us. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for anything beyond what’s described below.
When you submit an inquiry through our Contact page, Get a Quote page, the trip-planning form on the homepage or a tour page, or the custom tour builder, we collect: your name, email address, phone number, country of residence, tour or destination of interest, number of travellers, preferred arrival date and trip duration, budget range, and any message or itinerary details you provide. This information is stored privately in our website’s database and is only accessible to Aveniq Travel staff β it is never displayed publicly.
Submitting an inquiry triggers two automatic emails: a notification to our team so we can respond to you, and an auto-reply confirming we’ve received your request. These are sent through our email provider (Google Workspace).
If you subscribe to our newsletter using the form in the site footer, we store your email address so we can send you travel updates. You can ask us to remove you from this list at any time by emailing info@aveniqtravel.com.
If you leave a comment on our blog, we collect the data shown in the comment form (your name, email address, and comment text), plus your IP address and browser user agent to help with spam detection. An anonymized hash of your email address may be shared with the Gravatar service to check whether you have a Gravatar profile picture β see Automattic’s privacy policy. If your comment is approved, your name and comment (and profile picture, if you have a Gravatar) become publicly visible.
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use our site β which pages are popular, how people find us, and general usage patterns. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as your approximate location, device and browser type, and the pages you visit. This data is processed by Google in accordance with Google’s privacy policy. We do not use Google Analytics to identify you personally.

Newsletter subscriber emails are kept until you unsubscribe. Comment data is kept indefinitely so we can recognize returning commenters, unless you ask us to remove it.
